Fan Expo 2010

Two weekends ago I got the chance to attend the 2010 Fan Expo in Toronto. It was a spur of the moment thing so I went late Sunday afternoon and unfortunately didn't get to see some of the big celebrities like David Cronenberg, Lance Henriksen, William Shatner, Adam West or Leslie Nielsen. But I did see William Forsythe, Bill Moseley, Camille Keaton, Summer Glau and Heather Langenkamp. I didn't have much money so I could only afford to get Heather Langenkamp's autograph and a copy of Johnny Gruesome signed by Greg Lamberson. They were both crazy nice and I had a great time.

Me with Heather Langenkamp.
My autograph from Heather Langenkamp: 1,2... Freddy's coming for you!

That's so cool that you got to meet Heather. Ohh I wish I was able to stand by Dean Winchester's car. I LOVE Supernautral

I hate you!

But that is wicked cool. Summer Glau is amazing, and Heather freaking Langenkamp? I'm jealous.

Hey these are great pics! And I'm insanely jealous!

(PS- long time lover of your blog!)

I was just wondering if you've heard anything about the Fresh Blood competition? Was the winner announced at the Festival as planned.

I loved the competition and I'm sure Disunity will win (it sounds great!) but I'm wondering if it's going to get lost in the whole Dorchester/Leisure trouble over there...

Any news?

Yes, it was very cool.

Fear Street - There were at least 10 different pics and I had a hard time choosing one, but I think this one is pretty cool.

JennyB - I love Supernatural too. I think I was more excited to stand beside that car than to meet Heather, haha.

Petunia - Thanks, I had an awesome time.

TheGirlWhoLovesHorror - Haha, yeah it was pretty awesome.

Anonymous - Thanks. Yes, Disunity won and will be published as a limited edition hardcover by ChiZine but I'm not sure if it will be published by Leisure.

That all looks like fun. It's a shame I'm so anti-social.
